This is an Italian dish with a bit of Indian touch, this dish is consisting of a flat round base of dough baked with a topping of tomatoes, cheese and some vegetables. As far as kind of toppings are concerned – there are no rules you can choose ones you love. It’s always better to keep the toppings to just a handful at most. If we load Pizza with a ton of toppings – it might take forever long for the crust to cook well…
Please find the link below for PIZZA sauce:
1 ½ tablespoon cup water
1 small packet of yeast (1 tablespoon yeast)
1 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon oil
Salt as per your taste
Cheese of your choice
Take 1 ½ tablespoon cup water, 1 tablespoon yeast & 1 tablespoon sugar – Stir it well and leave it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes – it will turn little fluffy. Transfer it to the clean container / dish. Add salt as per your taste and 4 tablespoon of oil to it. Now, Add 2 cup all-purpose flour and mix it really well.
Knead by hand against the counter and keep kneading the dough until it turns into a smooth dough. If the dough sticks to the bottom of bowl or to your hands like bubble-gum, to avoid this add a tablespoon of flour at a time until it’s easier to work with.
After it’s done, Apply oil to the edges of the container in which we going to put the dough for 2 hours in a warm place, well covered with a piece of cloth.
Sprinkle the flour onto the counter-top and place the dough on top of it and knead for a minute or two to make the dough smoother. Stretch the dough into a round disc using rolling pin and roll out the dough.
Prepare the PIZZA tray by applying oil on top of it and place the rolled out dough on top of it so that it fits perfectly on the plate.
Preheat the oven to 375 F
Spread the PIZZA sauce on top of it and start adding the toppings you prepared. Chopped vegetables, cheese, etc..
Put it in the oven for 20-25 minutes and pull it out to enjoy with your friends and family.
